About Us | Brief History

The Church of God, Meghalaya and Assam is one of the larger Christian denominations in Meghalaya with presence in a few other states also. Apart from normal Church activities, the Church also runs Primary, secondary and Higher Secondary Schools. It also has a Theological College called the Nichols-Roy Bible College. However, a long felt need of the members of the Church is for a secular college which will cater to the needs of many students mostly from rural areas, who have, for one reason or another, been deprived of a sear in the colleges in Shillong.
